Samar Mansour Samawi is a Nazareth Baptist School graduate. She came to know Christ while a student at NBS through revival meetings in the 6th grade. She has a BSc from the Israeli Institute for Technology in Food Engineering and Biotechnology and spent 6 years in the Israeli Ministry of Health; a Masters of Public Administration from Clark University in the United States; and a Diploma in Business from Tel Aviv University. Her C.V is well versed in Long Experiences in NGOs, Customer Service, PR and Administrations and HR. Samar was also the Administrative Assistant to the head of the Nazareth Hospital with duties including research, conferences and fund-raising.

She spent 8 years as part of CRU (previously Campus Crusade for Christ); ordained as the first female deacon in Israel and currently ministers in her own church, Upper Nazareth Baptist Church (where her husband is Pastor) to women and Sunday School children. Currently she writes for Christian publications and contributes to other media, as well. Her expertise lies in arranging conferences and special events for Living Stones Tour Service and the yearly Back to Jerusalem Outreach. She is also currently on the advisory committee of the Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel.

Together with her husband Pastor Rajai Samawi, they are raising a beautiful 12-year old girl named Farah.
